The Spring/Summer collection 2013 from Damir Doma is the 10th collection, so it's actually a kind of anniversary. The collection has a look back element, which is drawing lines back to the last five years work of Damir. The inspiration for this collection has been comfort, lightness, practicality and coolness. In an in interview made by luisaviaroma Damir Doma says that it's his most personal collection so far and at the same time he says"for me it's a very colorful collection" - I couldn't help but thinking that the collection reminded me of the leading character of the manga movie Porco Rosso with the round classes and the uniform-like/practical outfits. I do find it interesting that his collections are beginning to focus more and more on suits ... It's really cool. I liked the collection a lot!
